Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVE MANGALURU
- Arrive at Mangaluru airport or railway station and meet your driver
- Check in to the hotel
- Visit the Kadri Manjunatha Temple and the Mangaladevi Temple, after which the city is named
- St. Aloysius Chapel with its painted ceilings
- Evening at Panambur or Tannirbhavi beach
- Overnight stay in Mangaluru
Day 2: MANGALURU – UDUPI (60 KMS / 1.5 HRS DRIVE)
- Breakfast and drive to Udupi
- Darshan at the Sri Krishna Matha — see the Kanakana Kindi window
- Lunch: try a traditional Udupi meal
- Afternoon at Malpe Beach and a boat ride to St. Mary's Island (weather permitting)
- Overnight stay in Udupi
Day 3: UDUPI – MURUDESHWAR – GOKARNA (175 KMS / 4 HRS DRIVE)
- Breakfast and check out
- Drive along the coast to Murudeshwar
- Visit the temple, the 37 m Shiva statue and the Raja Gopura with its lift to the top
- Continue to Gokarna and check in to the hotel
- Evening at Gokarna main beach
- Overnight stay in Gokarna
Day 4: GOKARNA SIGHTSEEING
- Morning darshan at the Mahabaleshwar Temple (Atmalinga) and Koti Teertha tank
- Visit Kudle Beach and Om Beach, shaped like the Om symbol
- Optional boat trip to Half Moon and Paradise beaches
- Sunset on the cliffs above Om Beach
- Overnight stay in Gokarna
Day 5: GOKARNA – YANA ROCKS – DEPARTURE
- Breakfast and check out
- Drive to Yana (50 kms) to see the towering black limestone peaks of Bhairaveshwara and Mohini Shikhara
- Continue to Goa (Dabolim) airport or Hubballi for your onward journey
