Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVE AMRITSAR
- Arrive at Amritsar airport or railway station and meet your driver
- Check in to the hotel
- Evening visit to the Golden Temple; stay for the Palki Sahib ceremony when the Guru Granth Sahib is carried to rest
- Overnight stay in Amritsar
Day 2: AMRITSAR – ATTARI–WAGAH BORDER (30 KMS)
- Early morning visit to the Golden Temple and the langar (community kitchen)
- Jallianwala Bagh memorial
- Partition Museum at the Town Hall (closed on Mondays)
- Durgiana Temple
- Afternoon drive to the Attari–Wagah border for the Beating Retreat ceremony at sunset
- Overnight stay in Amritsar
Day 3: AMRITSAR DEPARTURE
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Visit Gobindgarh Fort
- Shop for phulkari, juttis and papad-wadiyan in Hall Bazaar
- Lunch: Amritsari kulcha and lassi
- Drop at Amritsar airport / railway station for your onward journey
