Day 1: ARRIVE CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR (AURANGABAD)
- Arrive at the airport or railway station and meet your driver
- Check in to the hotel
- Visit Bibi Ka Maqbara and the Panchakki water mill
- Evening shopping for Himroo shawls and Paithani sarees
- Overnight stay
Day 2: AJANTA CAVES (100 KMS / 2.5 HRS EACH WAY)
- Early breakfast and drive to Ajanta (closed on Mondays)
- Shuttle bus from the visitor centre to the caves
- Explore the painted chaityas and viharas, including Caves 1, 2, 17 and 26
- Viewpoint over the horseshoe-shaped Waghur gorge
- Return to the hotel; overnight stay
Day 3: ELLORA – GRISHNESHWAR – DAULATABAD
- Breakfast and drive to Ellora (30 kms; closed on Tuesdays)
- Kailasa Temple (Cave 16) plus the Buddhist, Hindu and Jain cave groups
- Darshan at the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga next to Ellora
- Daulatabad Fort, a hilltop citadel with a spiral tunnel and moat
- Overnight stay
Day 4: CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR DEPARTURE
