Day 1: ARRIVE HANOI
- Arrive at Hanoi (Noi Bai) airport and meet your guide

Day 2: HANOI SIGHTSEEING

- Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university
- Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake
- Evening at leisure — try pho and egg coffee

Day 3: HANOI – HA LONG BAY CRUISE (170 KMS / 3 HRS DRIVE)
- Breakfast and drive to Ha Long Bay
- Board your cruise around noon; lunch on board as you sail among the limestone islands
- Kayaking or bamboo-boat ride and a visit to Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave
- Sunset on the sundeck

Day 4: HA LONG – HANOI – FLY TO DA NANG – HOI AN

Day 7: DA NANG – FLY TO HO CHI MINH CITY

- City tour: Notre-Dame Cathedral (exterior), Central Post Office, Independence Palace and the War Remnants Museum
- Evening at Ben Thanh Market

Day 8: CU CHI TUNNELS – HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE
- Morning trip to the Cu Chi tunnels (70 kms), the underground network used during the war
- Return to the city
- Drop at Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat) airport for your onward journey
