Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVE GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA (200 KMS / 5 HRS DRIVE)
- Arrive at Guwahati airport or railway station and meet your driver
- Drive to Kaziranga along the Brahmaputra plains
- Check in to the resort
- Evening visit to the Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park
- Overnight stay in Kaziranga
Day 2: KAZIRANGA SAFARI
- Early morning jeep safari in the Central (Kohora) range to see one-horned rhinos, wild elephants and water buffalo (at own cost)
- Afternoon jeep safari in the Western (Bagori) or Eastern (Agaratoli) range
- Overnight stay in Kaziranga
Day 3: KAZIRANGA – JORHAT – MAJULI
- Breakfast and check out
- Drive to Jorhat (95 kms) and visit a tea estate
- Drive to Nimati Ghat and take the ferry across the Brahmaputra to Majuli
- Check in to a cottage / eco-resort
- Overnight stay in Majuli
Day 4: MAJULI SIGHTSEEING
- Visit the Auniati and Kamalabari satras (Vaishnavite monasteries)
- Samaguri Satra, known for traditional mask-making
