Day 1: ARRIVE LEH
- Arrive at Leh airport and meet your driver
- Check in to the hotel
- Complete rest for the day to acclimatise to the high altitude (3,500 m) — drink plenty of water
- Overnight stay in Leh
Day 2: LEH LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill and the Sangam of the Indus and Zanskar rivers
- Hall of Fame war museum
- Afternoon visit to Leh Palace and Shanti Stupa for sunset
- Evening walk in Leh market
- Overnight stay in Leh
Day 3: LEH – KHARDUNG LA – NUBRA VALLEY (120 KMS / 5 HRS DRIVE)
- Breakfast and drive over Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes
- Descend into Nubra Valley and visit Diskit Monastery with its giant Maitreya Buddha
- Evening at the Hunder sand dunes with an optional double-humped camel ride
- Overnight stay in a camp or hotel in Nubra
Day 4: NUBRA – PANGONG TSO VIA SHYOK (160 KMS / 6 HRS DRIVE)
- Breakfast and drive along the Shyok river to Pangong Tso
- Arrive at the lake, which changes colour from blue to green through the day
- Sunset at the lake
- Overnight stay in a camp near Pangong
Day 5: PANGONG – CHANG LA – LEH (150 KMS / 5 HRS DRIVE)
- Sunrise by the lake
- Drive back to Leh over Chang La pass
- Evening at leisure in Leh
- Overnight stay in Leh
Day 6: LEH – THIKSEY – HEMIS – SHEY
- Breakfast and visit Thiksey Monastery, which looks like a smaller Potala Palace
- Hemis Monastery, the largest in Ladakh
- Shey Palace and its large Buddha statue

Day 7: LEH DEPARTURE
- Breakfast and drop at Leh airport for your onward journey
