  • Geographical Location: Kerala is a state in southern India, situated between the Arabian Sea to the west and the Western Ghats (Sahyadris) to the east. It covers an area of approximately 38,863 square kilometers. ​

  • Cultural Significance: As one of the five states in the linguistic-cultural region known as South India, Kerala boasts a rich heritage and diverse traditions.​

  • Kochi (Cochin): Known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea,” Kochi is the commercial capital of Kerala. It has a storied history as a major spice trading center and has evolved into a modern, cosmopolitan city.

  • Munnar and Anamudi Peak: Located in the Idukki district, Munnar is a renowned hill station. It is home to Anamudi, the highest peak in South India, standing at 2,695 meters. ​

  • Thekkady and Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary: Situated near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, Thekkady is famous for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. This reserve is known for its dense forests and diverse wildlife, including elephants, tigers, sambar deer, and Nilgiri langurs.

Itinerary

Day 1BANGALORE – COCHIN (1.05 HRS FLIGHT)

  • Assemble 2 hours prior flight at Bangalore Airport, and then proceed to Check in counter for the check in. Complete check in formalities and board your flight.
  • Depart Bangalore
  • Arrive Cochin airport
  • After collecting your baggage, meet your driver at arrival hall
  • Transfer to the hotel
  • After fresh n up, depart for the sightseeing of Cochin; Cochin is gifted the sobriquet of the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’. At sunset, do not miss the mesmerizing view of the Chinese fishing nets.
  • In the evening, explore the local markets of Cochin.
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 2COCHIN – MUNNAR (130 KMS / 4 HRS DRIVE)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check-out and proceed to drive to Munnar. Munnar is the lush scenic hill station of Kerala is one of the most beautiful places in India.
  • En-route, stop at the water falls and enjoy the natural beauty. The misty roads, the cloudy skies and the amazing views accompany on your ride.
  • On arrival into the hill town, check in a hotel.
  • Rest of the day is at your leisure.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3AT MUNNAR

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Proceed for a local sightseeing tour of Munnar. The first stop is the Tea Museum, where you learn about the processing of the favorite brew of India.
  • Later, proceed to the beautiful Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake.
  • In the afternoon visit the Eravikulam National Park. The high attitude sanctuary is known for the Nilgiri Tahr and the Neelakurinji flowers that bloom once in 12 years.
  • Arrive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4MUNNAR – THEKKADY (90 KMS / 2.5 HRS DRIVE)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out drive to Thekkady
  • On arrival at the nature blessed town, check in to the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake.
  • Later visit the Periyar National Park which is right on the shores of the lake.
  • Evening free to explore this beautiful place on your own.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5THEKKADY - KUMARAKOM (130 KMS / 4 HRS DRIVE)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out drive to Kumarakom
  • On arrival check in to the hotel
  • Free time for relaxation in the hotel
  • Evening visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 6KUMARAKOM – MARARIKULAM (30 KMS / 1 HRS DRIVE)

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Check out drive to Mararikulam
  • Upon arrival leisure time to enjoy hotel amenities
  • Evening spend time at the pleasant Mararikulam beach
  • Arrive back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 7 MARARIKULAM - ALLEPPEY (130 KMS / 4 HRS DRIVE)

  • Breakfast on board
  • Check out drive to Alleppey
  • Arrive Alleppey and transfer to the jetty to board the luxury houseboat cruise.
  • Welcome drink on check in, the houseboat travels towards SNDP Thodu, Punnamada Kayal, experiencing the emerald beauty of Kerala.
  • Lunch on board.
  • Post lunch, in the late afternoon, visit a nearby village. The other sights you explore is the Kuppapuram, Chitira Palli. The wonderful views of lush paddy fields from your houseboat is spectacular. Enjoy the charming ambiance.
  • In the evening, the houseboat gets anchored for night at any of the nearby village
  • Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 8ALLEPPRY – COCHIN - BENGALURU (45 KMS / 1.5 HRS DRIVE)

  • Breakfast on board
  • Check out and transfer to the Cochin Airport
  • Board the flight to fly back home.
