THAILAND – Experimenting the Possibilities

It has been long going in my mind about a dream country Thailand. Why Thailand because it’s the fine mixture of culture and the modern age and obviously in the budget of common Indian. But again, some barriers just like screaming alarms in a sound sleep. In every hectic day this dream was being somewhere hidden.

But one day, my luck was on cards, Baba (my Father) called me and permitted me for the Solo Tour to Thailand. Then what, date decided, fortunately got vacation approval from company on short notice. That night at 8th Dec sharp at 12.30AM I left the hustle and bustle and I was just feeling like being in heaven. I was feeling very much happy more than it was a proud feeling because this journey was within my budget and was traveling single so as to be responsible so for a while, I was like Bunny in YJHD…

Finally, most awaited…….I stepped out of the flight….

Actually, I was late so after refreshment due to lack of time first day was with few places. It was the very first…….

I visited “Temple of Golden Mount”. It was incredible, and the stairs up feels like walking in a fairytale perfect view of historical part of Bangkok. It is situated on top of hills. And the view at the top is breath taking where you can see all the other temples as well as Bangkok. Then visited MBK Mall and spend some little time.

In the hostel I met Olya, Russian, a solo traveler, she introduced some countries newly to me from her vision. And she was really very supportive then we visited short street in central Bangkok which is “Khaosan Road”. The street was a major Bangkok night market.

Then I was hungry, so I am in search of Indian restaurant and finally I got Indian hotel in chinatown. The dinner was really best. It was just like enjoying prey..

On next day I visited “Wat Arun”. It was easily one of the most stunning and huge temples in Bangkok, not only because of its Riverside location but also the design and architecture. Really Amazing and different than other temples. It is partly made up of colorfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water. Really spectacular…

Then I visited “Wat pho” which is exactly opposite to that of Wat Arun. A long sleeping Budhha statue with fine crafts was amazing.

On next day I planned for Pattaya. It is resort city in Thailand. Pattaya bay area is one of the Asia’s largest beach resorts. And second most visited city in Thailand. In the evening I visited beach road, walking street, restaurant, shopping areas and bars etc.

Then I visited ‘Koh Lern’, Island near Pattaya is always switched on and fun. Actually I just not planned of water sports activity but when I saw many of them enjoyed water activities and I was eager to be one of them and why not?

I met one Indian couple and they was from Kolkata. I communicated with them and I asked to keep my some things like passport and other in their bag and they have permitted. So, I felt quite relaxed and then my first water sport Activity was “Parceling”. It is an extremely joy able and trendy way to enjoy a unique view of beach. I realized that Sky has no limit. After that my next activity is sea walking kind of scuba diving and then sussesively speed boat and banana ride. Finally, my wish completed. When I returned from Island I wanted my earphone, so I checked my pocket and I was shocked my passport is lost and for a while I was totally blanked. Only I knew that the passport was in Indian person bag but I didn’t know his name address nothing. But fortunately, he read my name on my passport searched me on Facebook and messaged me, Hushhh, big thanks to them. I realized that it was somewhat difficult to manage all things in life. It is just trailer to me. Then I intimated my heart “Bhai!!! Be awared..”

In this way it was a wonderful day.

On 12th Dec. I visited Ayutthaya. It is historical place with ancient Buddhist temples. I spend little time there. But most Unforgettable thing or moment was I met one a little girl Teddy, from Holand of age 20years. But she was travelling 3 countries in 4 months and that also all alone. For few seconds I was really wondered. I inspired. Isn’t it really very difficult to visit 3 countries in the age of 20? Then I collect many information from her, glad to meet her. Also, I met one Geeman lady also ,she was very talkative, active and the solo traveller, with her I returned to bangkok. It was inspirational day to me.

On 13th December, I was lazy to go out but a German lady from my hostel promoted “Kanchiburi” in front of me and convinced me to visit it as well, at last I joined her. We enjoyed the train travel from Bangkok to Kanchiburi with a beautiful scenery around. The bridge on river Kwait was a must to see. Walking over it and knowing the history of death Railway is memorable experience. In the travel I observed some people watching Ramayan very curiously. Recognizing me as a Indian they signaled me about it.

14th Dec. I took rest and some time spend to visit silver market and banks in old Bangkok for currency exchange. And the time to say goodbye to Thailand. I just quite nervous but it was okay as I was taking lot of memories with me. At last train dropped me at airport.

Wow, learned so many things every day in this solo tour to Thailand. Really finding who am I.

Experimented the Possibilities. Met the best people ever here. Though the tour ended with memories are still lasting and will last forever…………….!!

  1. This is the right web site for anybody who would like to understand this topic. You realize so much its almost tough to argue with you (not that I actually would want toÖHaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a subject that has been written about for a long time. Great stuff, just great!
